We focus on developing vocabulary, socialization and other infant milestones to help your child start strong!
Our daily routine incorporates music, reading and lots of play.
We do weekly arts & craft activities, and plan to have monthly field trips around the Modesto area.

Hi, I’m Dorie!
I’m the Co-owner And Primary Caregiver. I handle day to Day operations. As A Foster Mom, HIstory Professor and Former K-12 teacher, I love educating Children about the world Around us. I Am in charge of all educational Programming.
Hi, I’m DarciE!
I am A longtime Foster Mother and Registered Nurse, and I co-own Emerald City with Dorie. I am on call 24/7 to help with illnesses - I mainly help in the evenings and on weekends.
Hi, I’m Ana!
I’m a Mother of three and have extensive EXPERIENCE care-giving for children and the elderly. I also have experience working with children with Special Needs. I am the primary Spanish-Speaking Caregiver.
Enrollment
We are open 6 AM to 7 PM Monday-Friday
Meals are included with weekly fee
Daily Drop-In Rate: $60
3 days per week: $185
4 days per week: $225
5 days per week: $275
Later/earlier hours can be arranged
if needed for an additional fee.
Our Daily Routine
Morning
6 AM Drop offs begin
Activities include art projects, storytime and educational games.
We read three books per day and have limited screen time on Fridays.
*Breakfast, Lunch and an afternoon snack are included.*
